Declan has over 10 years experience in the field of corporate treasury covering implementation of operational banking solutions through to longer term strategic financing. He is currently Group Treasurer at EMR Group where he leads daily liquidity management and reporting of the group’s global operations including the United Kingdom, United States, Continental Europe & Asia, has responsibility for financial risk management and is arranger of various group facilities.

James is an experienced treasurer with a proven track record in fundraising and optimizing treasury activities through cutting-edge technology and effective management of financial operations. With a focus on attention to detail, creativity, and an agile skill set, he has built and led teams capable of tackling complex challenges—whether it's reducing cash flow volatility, minimizing interest costs, improving efficiency, or delivering new insights. James has significant Board and Audit Committee experience, including presenting on treasury and enterprise risks. He serves as a Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chair of the AIRMIC Audit Committee and is an Investment Committee member for the Pearson US pension scheme.
